The Boparan Charitable Trust believes sometimes it’s not about big wishes and magical moments; it’s about the little things that make your world turn around. Little things that can make a big difference…

The Boparan Charitable Trust is a newly formed charity with the objective of helping as many children and young people under the age of 18, who are disadvantaged through poverty, disability and terminal illness.

Each application is thoroughly assessed to ensure it meets our criteria. The Boparan Charitable Trust hopes to help as many children as possible and fully welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

To apply for assistance we require the parent or legal guardian of the child to complete and sign an application form, which you can download below.

Please provide as much information as possible, including any help you have received from other charitable organisations.

In addition to the application pack, The Boparan Charitable Trust also requires three financial quotes and a written letter of support from an independent professional body, such as a doctor or social worker. Each letter must be on official letter-headed paper and provide the following:

  • Their association to the child
  • Confirmation of the child’s situation (medical or living conditions)
  • Confirmation of the request and why they support that particular request
  • Confirmation that the request will not harm the child

From time to time we may contact the applicant for more information if and when necessary. Once we have received all the information we require, your application will be put before the Trustees. The Trustees use their funding criteria to select applications they are able to help.
The family is then contacted either in writing, by phone or personal visit. Steps are then taken to fulfil the request.
