Unfortunately, Daniel has seizures randomly day or night, which can be life threatening, causing choking and is often hospitalised. Daniel has no verbal communication and therefore can not express how he feels.
Daniel lets you know if he is happy or sad by making sounds and bangs his head when frustrated. He loves being outside playing with his sensory toys, but if it rains he gets upset because he has to be inside.
Daniel’s parents applied to The Boparan Charitable Trust for a ‘Epileptic Seizure Monitor’ which will help monitor Daniel and alert his parents if he starts to have a seizure in the night.
“Daniel had 5 seizures last week, it’s horrible not knowing whether he will survive or not. As a mom, to see your son go through it, It makes you feel so limited when trying to help him. I’m so thankful to The Boparan Charitable Trust, they have provided me with great comfort, rested in the knowledge that Daniel is safe as I can respond ASAP. The Seizure Monitor will make Daniel’s life infinitely better .”
